Google Earth imagery isn't always 100% accurate. You may notice small positional shifts between the quarter section boundaries and the satellite imagery underneath.

This is normal and occurs because satellite imagery can have minor georeferencing differences. The quarter section data itself is accurate based on official records, however it is not a substitute for legal surveying.
